Driver hours, without replacing your ELD

TimeOff Manager Pro Time screen for a driver clocking in at the yard

Clocking in at the yard

Drivers clock in at the yard

Right now, the office only knows a truck left because the gate camera caught it.

Drivers clock in on their phone. The GPS location is saved with that clock-in.

Work locations list with a trucking terminal and its geofence

The terminal saved as a work location

Save the terminal as a work location

Clock-ins from home and clock-ins from the yard get mixed together.

Save the terminal as a work location. You can add a geofence so drivers have to be at the terminal to clock in.

Live staff map of truck drivers on an open shift. This is not a freight tracker

Which drivers are on shift

The live map shows drivers, not loads

You want to know which drivers have started their day, not where the freight is.

The live staff map shows drivers who are on shift right now and agreed to share their location. It is separate from the GPS saved at clock-in.

My Mileage screen for miles a driver recorded, separate from hours-of-service logs

Miles a driver logged

Log the miles you choose to track

Some miles belong on an expense sheet, not in an ELD.

Drivers can log a trip, and you can download it.

Team calendar of home time for truck drivers

Home time on the team calendar

Home time is requested as time off

Days off are arranged in a long text thread.

Drivers request time off in the app. You approve it, and it shows on the team calendar.

Approved hours, ready for payroll

TimeOff Manager tracks hours. It doesn’t pay anyone. At the end of the pay period, a manager reviews and approves the hours. Then you download them as an Excel or CSV file and send it to whoever runs payroll: your bookkeeper, your accountant, or your payroll software.

  • Hours are approved first

A manager checks the hours before they go anywhere, so payroll gets real numbers, not guesses from a group text.

  • Overtime is flagged

Extra hours show up on the timesheet, so you can see overtime before you pay it.

  • Excel or CSV

One download your bookkeeper or payroll software can open.

  • Payroll happens elsewhere

TimeOff Manager does not calculate pay, print checks, or file taxes.

A typical day

  1. 1

The driver arrives at the yard

The driver clocks in before the truck moves. The GPS location is saved with that clock-in.

  2. 2

    The geofence checks the location

If the terminal has a geofence, the driver has to be inside it to clock in.

  3. 3

The office checks the live map

The office sees who is still clocked in on the live map. This is not an ELD record of where the truck went.

  4. 4

    Friday: download the hours

Hours go to payroll. Duty-status logs stay in the ELD you already use.

This is not an ELD

TimeOff Manager does not record hours of service, duty status, IFTA miles, or freight. It is a time clock: drivers clock in, request time off, and can log mileage, and you download the hours.
