Time tracking for plumbing crews
Your plumbers clock in on their phone at the address of the call or the rough-in, not just at the shop. Their mileage and time off are tracked in the same account.

- From $15/mo
- Live demo
From $15/mo billed annually. Starter $15/mo · Growth $25/mo · Scale $49.99/mo.
Service calls, rough-ins, and time off in one app
Save the job address
Clock in at the job address
If plumbers only clock in at the shop, you can’t see the calls they went to all day.
Add the house or the building as a work location. The GPS location is saved with each clock-in.
Where the plumber clocked in
Set a geofence around the rough-in
A clock-in from the coffee shop next door doesn’t prove they were at the job.
Turn on a geofence for that work location, so they have to be at the job to clock in.
Which plumbers are on a call
A live map for the owner on the road
You are on a call yourself and can’t tell which plumber is free.
The live staff map shows who is on shift right now, for people who agreed to share their location. The GPS saved at clock-in is a separate record.
Time-off requests waiting for approval
Helpers’ time off on the same calendar
A helper calls out, and the lead plumber only finds out at the house.
Time-off requests go to the approval list and show on the team calendar.
Miles driven between calls
Log mileage when the van crosses town
Three calls across town turn into one guessed number of miles.
Plumbers log each trip, and you download the trips with the hours.
Approved hours, ready for payroll
TimeOff Manager tracks hours. It doesn’t pay anyone. At the end of the pay period, a manager reviews and approves the hours. Then you download them as an Excel or CSV file and send it to whoever runs payroll: your bookkeeper, your accountant, or your payroll software.
-
Hours are approved first
A manager checks the hours before they go anywhere, so payroll gets real numbers, not guesses from a group text.
-
Overtime is flagged
Extra hours show up on the timesheet, so you can see overtime before you pay it.
-
Excel or CSV
One download your bookkeeper or payroll software can open.
-
Payroll happens elsewhere
TimeOff Manager does not calculate pay, print checks, or file taxes.

A typical day
-
1
The plumber arrives
The plumber gets to the house or the commercial rough-in.
-
2
They clock in
The GPS location is saved with the clock-in. If you set a geofence, the app blocks a clock-in from too far away.
-
3
You check the live map
Open the live map to see where the other van is. This is not the same as clock-in history.
-
4
Friday: send the hours
Send the hours to your bookkeeper. They run payroll in other software.
It doesn’t send invoices or dispatch calls
TimeOff Manager does not write invoices, price parts, or assign the next clogged drain. It records who clocked in at the address, the miles they drove, and their time off.
Also see time tracking software, TimeOff Kiosk, PTO software, and pricing.
Approved time off can sync to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. Approved hours can go to QuickBooks Online or FreshBooks.
You can also ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor questions about your account, like who is out next week, through Model Context Protocol.

Common questions from plumbers
Can each call address be a clock-in location?
Yes. Each work location can require GPS and a geofence, so the clock-in has to happen at that address.
Does the live map prove where they clocked in?
No. The live map shows people on shift right now who agreed to share their location. Each clock-in saves its own GPS location separately.
Can we bill customers from TimeOff Manager?
No. You download the hours. Invoicing stays in your accounting software.
How much does it cost?
From $15/mo billed annually after a 14-day trial. Starter is $15/mo, Growth is $25/mo, and Scale is $49.99/mo.
