Time tracking for transportation teams

Drivers clock in at the yard. Route miles and time off for drivers and dispatch staff are all in the same account. TimeOff Manager is not an ELD.

From $15/mo billed annually. Starter $15/mo · Growth $25/mo · Scale $49.99/mo.

How a transportation company uses it

TimeOff Manager Pro clock-in screen for a driver at the yard

Clocking in at the yard

Drivers clock in at the yard

Dispatch often only knows a driver’s day has started because the radio crackled.

Drivers clock in on their phone or on a shared yard tablet. You can require their GPS location when they clock in.

Team mileage for transportation drivers

Every driver’s miles for the week

Miles are tracked apart from hours

Fuel and hours get argued about as if they were the same number.

Mileage is its own record, shown next to the driver’s hours.

Team calendar of time off for drivers and dispatch staff

Who is off this month

Time off for dispatch staff

The person who plans everyone’s day takes a day off, and nobody wrote it down.

Dispatch employees request time off in the app, just like drivers. Approved days show on the team calendar.

Live staff map of transportation staff currently clocked in

Who is clocked in right now

The live map shows people, not trucks

Sometimes you just need to know who has started work, not where the freight is.

The live staff map shows each person who is clocked in right now. It is a different screen from the GPS location saved at clock-in.

Work locations list with a geofence around a transportation terminal

Terminals saved as work locations

Clock-ins have to happen at the terminal

Clock-ins from home and clock-ins from the yard get mixed together.

If your rule is that drivers clock in at the terminal, set a geofence around it. They can only clock in inside that area.

Approved hours, ready for payroll

TimeOff Manager tracks hours. It doesn’t pay anyone. At the end of the pay period, a manager reviews and approves the hours. Then you download them as an Excel or CSV file and send it to whoever runs payroll: your bookkeeper, your accountant, or your payroll software.

  • Hours are approved first

A manager checks the hours before they go anywhere, so payroll gets real numbers, not guesses from a group text.

  • Overtime is flagged

Extra hours show up on the timesheet, so you can see overtime before you pay it.

  • Excel or CSV

One download your bookkeeper or payroll software can open.

  • Payroll happens elsewhere

TimeOff Manager does not calculate pay, print checks, or file taxes.

This is not an ELD or a routing system
